Player Registration

We’re so excited to welcome your family to the Fall season with Georgetown Youth Girls’ Softball Association.

Registration is $210 per player, and if you are registering multiple children at the same time, each additional child receives a 25% sibling discount.

Your registration fees help support uniforms and essential league operations, including field and light usage, umpire fees, and other costs that help make the season possible.

Dates for Assessments, Start of Season, and Opening Day will be announced soon, so please keep an eye on your email and our website for updates.

We can’t wait for a fun and exciting season on the field.

You can register up to 4 children in one submission. Each child is added to the WooCommerce cart as a separate registration item.

If selected, this player will be registered and charged in the next eligible Rec division up.

Acknowledgments

Photography/Recording Release
I give permission for Georgetown Youth Girls' Softball Association, Inc. (GYGSA) to photograph or record my child during league activities and to use these images or recordings for lawful promotional purposes, including on GYGSA websites, social media, and printed materials. I understand this consent is optional, and leaving this box unchecked means I do not grant permission.

Code of Conduct - Assumption of Risk
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I, as parent or guardian of the "Participant", a player or participant in Georgetown Youth Girls Softball Association ("GYGSA") acknowledge the risk associated with the player's participation in all GYGSA activities or related functions and agree to assume such risk on behalf of the player and myself and hereby waive all claims for injury against GYGSA. Further, to the fullest extent permitted by law, I, as parent or guardian of the player, agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend GYGSA, ONY baseball, Inc., the organizers, Supervisors, Participants, Persons transporting the player, Directors, Agents, Employees and Volunteers ("GYGSA and Associates") from and against all claims, damages, loses and expenses, including, but not limited to, attorneys fees, arising out of or resulting from bodily injury to, or sickness, disease, or death of the player or any representative, guest, parent or guardian of player, regardless of whether such claim, damage, loss or expense is caused, or is alleged to be caused, in whole or in part by the negligence of GYGSA and associates, it being the expressed intent of myself and GYGSA and associates that in such an event I am to indemnify, hold harmless and defend GYGSA and associates from the consequences of their own negligence whether it is or is alleged to be the sole or concurring cause of injury or damage. This release and indemnity agreement will be unaffected by any insurance policy that GYGSA may, in its sole discretion, choose to purchase.

Refund Policy
Refund requests must be in writing to the GYGSA President and received no later than the last draft date. No money will be refunded after this date. All refunds will be less $15 for processing and administrative fees.

Medical Release
This is to certify that I, parent or guardian of the "Participant", a player or participant in the Georgetown Youth Girls Softball Association (GYGSA) activities, hereby grant permission to the adult manager and coach of the team to obtain medical care from any licensed physician, hospital or medical clinic, for player named herein at such time as either parent or legal guardian cannot be contacted in person or by telephone. In such an event, I understand that I alone shall be responsible for all cost incurred, regardless of any insurance policy owned by GYGSA.

Code of Conduct
All participants, parents, coaches, and volunteers are expected to conduct themselves with integrity and respect at all GYGSA activities. Participants must follow the rules of the sport as established by GYGSA and respect the authority of coaches and officials. Inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to verbal abuse, physical aggression, or unsportsmanlike conduct, is not tolerated and may result in removal from participation. Parents and guardians are expected to model positive behavior and support a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
